Ingredients

  • 3 pcs avocado(ripe)
  • 1 pc chipotle peppers in adobo sauce(finely chopped, plus 1 tsp adobo sauce)
  • 1/4 cup red onion(finely diced)
  • 1/4 cup cilantro(fresh, chopped)
  • 1 tbsp lime juice(freshly squeezed)
  • 1/2 tsp salt(or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper(freshly ground, or to taste)

  1. Halve the ripe avocados, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado with a fork or a potato masher to your desired consistency, leaving some chunks for texture.
  3. Add the finely chopped chipotle pepper, 1 tsp of adobo sauce, diced red onion, and chopped fresh cilantro to the bowl.
  4. Pour in the fresh lime juice, then season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Gently fold all the ingredients together until well combined. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
