Instructions
Pork Belly
- 1Pat the pork belly dry with paper towels. This helps it crisp up.
- 2Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork belly and fry, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
- 3Remove pork belly from the wok, leaving the rendered fat. Set pork belly aside.
Noodles
- 1In the same wok with rendered pork fat, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- 2Add soy sauce, water, sugar, and white pepper to the wok. Bring to a simmer.
- 3Add the e-fu noodles to the simmering sauce. Gently toss to coat and allow them to absorb the liquid, about 5-7 minutes, until tender and the sauce has thickened.
- 4Add the crispy pork belly back into the wok with the noodles. Toss to combine and heat through.
- 5Drizzle with sesame oil just before serving.
