Ingredients
Dough
- 8 pcs biscuits(such as tube-canned biscuits)
- 4 tbsp butter(melted)
Filling
- 2 tbsp butter(melted)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar(packed)
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
Glaze
- 4oz cream cheese(softened)
- 2 tbsp butter(softened)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp milk(or as needed for consistency)
Instructions
Prepare the Buns
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 10-inch oven-safe skillet.
- Unroll the biscuits and separate them. Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces.
- In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter (4 tbsp) with the biscuit pieces. Toss to coat evenly.
- Arrange the coated biscuit pieces in a single layer in the prepared skillet.
Make the Filling
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter (2 tbsp), packed brown sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Drizzle this cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the biscuit pieces in the skillet.
Bake and Glaze
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown and cooked through.
- While the buns are baking, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and softened butter until smooth.
- Stir in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until combined. Add milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the glaze reaches your desired consistency.
- Once the buns are out of the oven, let them cool slightly in the skillet. Then, drizzle the glaze generously over the warm cinnamon buns.

Tips
- Ensure your cream cheese and butter for the glaze are fully softened for a smooth, lump-free consistency.
- Keep an eye on the buns while baking; oven temperatures can vary, and you want them perfectly golden.
- Serve warm directly from the skillet for the best texture and melt-in-your-mouth experience.
