- 1 pc egg white(lightly beaten)
Sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch(slurry with 2 tbsp water)
- 2 tbsp water
Vegetables and Fruit

- 1 pc green bell pepper(cut into 1-inch pieces)
- 1/2 pcs onion(cut into 1-inch pieces)
For Baking
- 2 tbsp cooking oil(for greasing the baking sheet)
Instructions
Prepare the Pork
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, toss the pork cubes with the lightly beaten egg white until coated.
- Add the cornstarch to the bowl and toss again until the pork is evenly coated. Shake off any excess cornstarch.
Bake the Pork
- Arrange the coated pork cubes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pork is golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway through.
Make the Sauce
- While the pork is baking, combine ketchup, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and soy sauce in a small saucepan.
- Bring the sauce mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the 1 tbsp cornstarch and 2 tbsp water to create a slurry. Pour this slurry into the simmering sauce, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
- Stir in the pineapple chunks and bell pepper pieces. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender-crisp.
Combine and Serve
- Add the baked pork bites to the sauce with the vegetables and pineapple. Toss gently to coat everything evenly.
- Serve immediately, optionally garnished with sesame seeds or sliced green onions.
