Ingredients

  • 5oz all-purpose flour(Sifted)
  • 4oz unsalted butter(Softened)
  • 4oz granulated sugar
  • 4oz roasted hazelnuts(Roughly chopped)
  • 2oz honey
  • 2 pcs eggs(Large)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sifted all-purpose flour and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Fold in the chopped roasted hazelnuts and honey.

Baking

  1. Spread the dough evenly onto the prepared baking sheet, forming a thin layer.
  2. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
  3. Let the bars cool completely on the baking sheet before cutting.
