- 2 cup buckwheat flour
- 18oz minced pork(can substitute with chicken or beef)
- 1 pc onion(finely grated or minced)
- 1 pc egg(lightly beaten)
- 2 tbsp garlic(minced)

- 1 cup sour cream(full fat recommended)
- 1/4 cup fresh dill(finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice(freshly squeezed)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder(or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp salt(or to taste)
Instructions
Make the Grechanyky
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Lightly grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil.
- In a large bowl, combine the buckwheat flour, minced pork, grated onion, beaten egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- With damp hands, shape the mixture into small, flattened patties (about 2-3 inches in diameter and 0.5 inch thick).
- Place the shaped grechanyky onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the grechanyky are cooked through and lightly golden brown.
Prepare the Creamy Dill Dip
- While the grechanyky are baking, prepare the dip. In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream, chopped fresh dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt.
- Stir well until everything is evenly incorporated. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
